The rooms were great, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. 😊 Perfect for anyone who doesn’t need big luxury but just wants a cozy, nice place to stay. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

Check‑in was hassle‑free—a quick pre‑call and we got instructions for the key‑safe. The drive was a bit tricky because of on‑site construction, so we had to detour a few times. No staff were visible on site, but that didn’t bother us. The room and bathroom were very clean and thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed a quiet night in this charming little pension in Eisleben. Breakfast was already set out the next morning, which we found very convenient because it avoided the chaotic rush of a buffet. Everything we wanted was there. Thanks for the lovely setup. I highly recommend the Pension Schmatka Matka 🙏🏻🫶👍

Everything you need is here. Very quiet and very clean. Shared kitchen available for cooking, plus a large fridge. Note: heavy luggage is best left in the car—there’s no lift.

When we tried to book, she called to say there were no rooms available, so we had to find another place.
