“Booking.com misrepresents parking facility at hotel. Staff unhelpful and unfriendly. Unsafe area!”
Parking is a nightmare – the hotel advertises a car park but it’s almost non‑existent. Even though we arrived an hour before the 3 pm check‑in, there was no space left. We were sent to public parking, where our car was vandalised overnight. Passersby and the police said the area is unsafe. When we called back to the hotel, the receptionist asked if the police had an ETA; after we said they hadn’t, she explained that it usually takes 30–60 min for police to arrive. The police were there shortly after our call. Another receptionist admitted the car park is very small, and the hotel should not claim to have a parking facility.
