Quality Inn & Suites Meridian - West Boise

The place was clean, quiet, and the plumbing worked. The only downside was that the desk didn’t have a nearby electrical outlet.

The staff were friendly, but the facilities were very dirty and poor, and for the price I was not pleased at all.

The breakfast was okay; it would have been nicer if the waffles had sliced fruit with whipped topping, and the sausage links were awful—sausage patties would have been better. The shower door was extremely difficult to open or close, rubbing against the bottom trim, and an older person would struggle; the toilet was malfunctioning, requiring me to lift the lid and reset the chain to stop the water from running.

“This Not-So Quality Inn will not be my next choice for an overnight stay :(”

I chose this motel because it was advertised as pet‑friendly, yet the room smelled strongly of previous dogs, keeping me awake all night. I found dog kibble behind the bathroom door, the floor was dirty with visible footprints and dried spills, and the tub/shower looked unclean after a multi‑day stay (though I didn’t use it). Even days later, my clothes still carried that odor. I should have asked for a different room, and I regret not doing so; by not reporting the conditions I missed the chance to have them fixed, so this review could have been more positive.
