“Eigentlich ein schöner Ort”
The location is very beautiful and quiet, reception was functional, but the room on the upper floor above the restaurant had a broken ceiling light that wasn’t repaired, leaving only the bedside lamp for illumination, so I had to use my own flashlight to eat. The parquet floor creaks, the bathroom isn’t separated from the room—another door would help—and everything seemed poorly maintained. Breakfast wasn’t available before 8:00 am; we needed to be there at 7:30 am because we still had 600 km to drive. They quickly assembled something in the evening; coffee came from a capsule machine, the microwave was heavily soiled, and overall we felt the restaurant was prioritized over overnight guests, which made it simply too expensive.
