The owner was welcoming and tried to make us comfortable within her means. The house is about a 15‑20 minute walk from the center, though the route involves a steep climb. Compared to average prices for stays in Nice, it saves a bit, but I don’t think it’s worth it. We stayed there at the beginning of August; the room was small and very hot, equipped only with a fan (we knew there was no air conditioning, but that still hurts comfort). There was a tiny bathroom with just a toilet and another with a sink and shower, which was a bit inconvenient (to wash our hands we had to go through the living room, which is probably normal in France). At the end of our stay she told us there was a disinfectant near the toilet, but she hadn’t mentioned it earlier. Some parts of the house and utensils were dirty (e.g., the hair dryer was dusty, there were cobwebs in the room, and a crumbling soap bar in the shower), or even full of bugs (I attached photos of jars with nuts infested by larvae and mold; the nuts weren’t ours, but seeing larvae and moths in the kitchen jars made the day start badly). Other supplies the owner had provided were expired for a long time (for example, in our room there were coffee sachets expired for three years, i.e., in 2023). I clarify that the owner was away for three days, but we never used the whole apartment because we were always out, and we never ate in the house because we never felt comfortable eating there. Since the lady would be away for a few days, she had previously asked if we could throw out the trash ourselves, but the next day she said not to and that she would handle it. The place is not recommended at all by us (we’re a couple who travel many times a year, have no special demands, but this house disappointed us a lot); I don’t understand how it can get all those 10s.

“Muito bom”

The location is amazing, the owner is friendly and attentive. The house is very beautiful and organized. In just a little over 20 minutes’ walk you reach the beach. Highly recommend.
