“Male Front Desk Employee Deserves A Promotion!!”

A male front‑desk employee—dark hair, glasses, football‑player build—was super nice, thoughtful, and helpful with our dogs, clearly deserving a promotion. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the location is great, within walking distance to Panera, Starbucks, and other spots. The only downside was the policy that prevented us from taking breakfast back to our room; some family members wanted to eat on their own schedule in private, so that rule was a bit restrictive.

“Beware of Booking.com recommendations for a king size and a pullout for two adults and two children does not work here”

The location was good, close to a zoo for our grandchildren. I booked a king‑size bed with a pull‑out for two adults and two children (9 and 11), but the pull‑out was extremely uncomfortable and no bedding was provided until my husband asked. We requested a room with two queens, but the staff said a king with a pull‑out was only for two people, so we couldn’t be moved that night and my husband and grandson had an uncomfortable night on the pull‑out. The next day, when we asked for a new room, the staff reiterated that a king with a pull‑out is meant for two people only.

I cleaned up the room well, but the front desk and breakfast staff were a hassle. They charged me $60 for two small dogs, yet refused to let the dogs in the lobby near the breakfast area or allow me to bring breakfast into the room. They cited a policy that wasn’t listed on their website.

“Very clean and comfy just that one water issue.”

The room was very clean and comfy, but in room 119 we could hear water running through the plumbing wall all night, and there were random clanging noises from that same wall.
