I think it's important to let guests know that the hotel will be undergoing renovations, which means you'll hear construction noise during rest hours. The construction noise was the only downside.

The location was great and the staff were nice and tried to help us, but the hotel was under renovation and that wasn’t mentioned when we booked. It made the place dirty, noisy, and the rooms had a harsh smell.
The location was great, breakfast was excellent, and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The only downside was that the elevator and restaurant were under renovation that week.

The hotel is simple but pays close attention to the services offered (for example, water and coffee are provided in the hall in the afternoon, and you can still enjoy them after check‑out while waiting to leave). The reception staff were extremely kind and professional. The location is very convenient for exploring the city.
