I was charged for a night I never got to use because of a family emergency, and the bed was a nightmare with a super hard mattress. I also paid a steep price for dinner and the buffet had very few items. The place claims to be four‑star but I've stayed at many better ones.

When we raised our complaint, the hotel showed quick reaction and cared about making our stay at the other hotel as good as possible. Three days before the trip we were told that the two rooms we had booked for two families with children were unavailable; they didn't explain why (probably overbooking) and we had to move to another hotel in a different part of the island. So I can’t rate Globales Cala Bona beyond this experience.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and spoke English well. The food quality was generally poor, though breakfast was usually acceptable.

The room was dirty, clearly not cleaned. There were trimmed nails on the floor and a whole pile of ants due to food scraps left on the floor. All they could offer me was dichlorvos and a 10‑minute wait at the reception at 2 am while it aired out 😂
