“Definitely visit the town and the hotel. Can't go wrong.”

Fabulous hotel. Our one room was clean and spacious, had 2 double beds for 2 of us. The other room we had was a family room for 3 people and this room was lovely, and had a sofa for us all to sit and have a drink in the evening. The walk in to the town was short. Takayama is a lovely place to stay and really enjoyed walking around down by the river and through the streets doing a bit of shopping. We had an amazing meal where we cooked our own steak and had unlimited drinks for 2 hours. 2 of us were veggie and they accomodated that. Loved the hotel. Loved the town

Loved the room size and the huge beds. Parking - seems to be allocated to guests by the day? We could not park even though there was an empty lot as apparently it belonged to another guest

Very large room Clean and modern. Very few parking spots

“When we arrived, the parking space was full. But the staff at front desk was not helpful and not willing to provide any”

2 bunker beds in the room, good for 4 persons, and with washing machines in the room. Only 5 car parking space, and easily full. Then you need to park close to the train station. Usually no staff at front desk to provide assistance
