Dancenter Bristol near Clifton Down Station

“Pleasant stay.”

The room was small but had enough equipment for the price. A large window let in plenty of light, and it wasn’t overlooked by other accommodation or businesses. The toilet and sink weren’t cramped, unlike some budget places. It felt quiet, clean, and well kept. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers. Modern digital entry meant no metal key. The staff were friendly. Clifton is a nice area, the city centre is a walk away, Clifton Down train station is ten minutes on foot, and Bristol City football ground is a half‑hour walk. The only downside was that there was room for a small milk fridge to store your own plant milk or snacks, but it wasn’t provided. The shower was slightly cramped but did the job.

The receptionist was helpful. There was no bathroom in the room.

“Cheap Price - didn't impress - and no idea why its called Dance Centre”

Central location was a plus, but that's about it - the windows wouldn't shut, and with all the student noise on the street, it was a restless night. One of the beds in the double was ridiculously soft, so I had to switch to the other one.

“Pay however much more you need to in order to avoid this place. Not worth the small savings at all”

This hotel's got a great location, especially if you're heading to Park Street or Clifton, and it's not too far from the city centre either. That being said, the low price tag makes sense when you see the state of the place - our room was dirty, no hot water, and the shared bathroom upstairs was a mess. Staff weren't exactly welcoming, but one guy did apologize when I complained about the shower.
