The hotel is 14 minutes from the Louvre by metro and 25 minutes from the Musée d'Orsay by RER.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The air conditioning never worked; after calling for help they offered a small fan, and on arrival I was charged extra taxes even though I had paid everything through Booking.

I only stayed one night while traveling and the hotel’s location near Gare de Lyon was perfect. The room was roomy and the bathroom spotless, and there were plenty of cafés in the vicinity. However, the stretch of sidewalk between the station and the hotel looked quite dirty.

The reception was friendly, the proximity to the station was convenient, and the pool was nice. The cleaning was half‑done on the first night and not done at all on the second night.

The hotel’s location is great. I never wrote a negative review before, but this time I had to. My 7‑year‑old son found a syringe under his bed, along with various bits of junk like candy wrappers. Luckily he wasn’t hurt. We told reception and showed them photos, but they only offered us a free cocktail ticket that we never used. I complained to Booking, which listened, believed me, and contacted the hotel, but nothing was done. We were a party of four and every day they only supplied towels for two, even though we left notes in the room requesting more. The staff also entered rooms without knocking, another issue we raised with reception. This is unacceptable for a 4‑star place that charges a lot. I expect a response from the hotel, but I’m writing this to warn future guests. We will never stay here again.
