“Nice hotel in the centre of town”
The location was great for the work I was doing nearby. The room was comfy, the staff were friendly, and the food at the adjoining restaurant was fabulous. All good.

Breakfast was very limited, especially since we had told them we were gluten and lactose free. Parking was okay. The reception didn’t seem interested in helping us. The hand basin in the room was cracked, and some floor tiles in the bathroom were also damaged.

I didn’t have breakfast. The public rooms were comfortable and welcoming. The beer was good and the staff friendly. Our room was very small and the bathroom tiny.

The sheets were crisp and fresh. The hotel had a 1970s feel.

The room is comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is fantastic and the views were outstanding. For the price (over £400 for one night), you expect a high‑end experience, yet simple hospitality was omitted. There was no coffee machine in the room, only sachets of instant coffee. Breakfast was not included, and there were no biscuits or little ‘welcome’ tokens for guests. Altogether, this felt unjustifiable for the price. It’s not luxury, it’s just expensive.
