The staff were friendly, but the value for money was disappointing. The cleaning and room perfumes had an extremely strong odor that made the room almost uninhabitable, causing severe mucous membrane irritation, nasal pain, and tearing eyes, which is unacceptable for a hotel room. The nearby alleyway was noisy, making necessary ventilation unpleasant. The furniture was clearly old and heavily worn. The whirlpools in the rooms felt outdated. The outdoor area was untidy and uninviting. Breakfast was modest and conventional, with a selection that seemed not very fresh. Overall, the quality offered was far below the room price; for that price we expected a much better-maintained, higher-quality stay. The only bright spot was the consistently friendly staff, but we cannot recommend the property because of the issues mentioned.
