The spot was super quiet and dead‑easy to find, and those sunrise views over the trees were unbeatable – big thanks to Nevinha and Rodolfo for making it feel like home. The only real drawback was the bathroom: it had no roof and, with nine other people in the same room, the noise got pretty annoying. Overall, I loved the vibe despite that one flaw.

The view from the room was just stunning and I always felt safe walking around the area. The only let‑down was the kitchen – it’s tiny and cramped for cooking anything more than a quick snack. Still, the scenery made up for the limited cooking space.

My time at Hostel Vista Do Mar was fantastic – I was in constant touch with Don Rodolfo, who kept the rooms and bathrooms spotless. Everyone who showed up, as well as the regulars, were really friendly and welcoming. I’m glad I found this place and I’ll definitely be back many times.

The hostel’s view is simply beautiful; you really shouldn’t miss the sunrise if you’re staying here. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the scenery.
