I initially found a clean, affordable place in the Perhentian, and while the accommodation was simple, I expected worse; basic cleanliness was present and I felt comfortable during my six‑day stay, plus there was a free cleaning service every two days and a water dispenser. However, there was no hot water, which wasn’t really needed given the temperature, and the wifi didn’t work well.

I had a pleasant stay! The place is very well located in Fisherman, and the owner was very available.

Maybe the location is decent but nothing else; the equipment was worn out, there was no hot water, shower drainage was problematic, there were a lot of mosquitoes, the room had no windows, children knocked on the doors early in the morning, the sound insulation was poor, and more.
