“Gerne wieder, es war fein....”
The hotel is very pretty and typical Italian, a bit dated but still good quality. It’s a four‑star place, though I’d call it 3+ if it still shone. The location is perfect for touring the Valdobbiadene area. The rooms are a good size, with a bathroom that has a toilet, bidet and shower (a little small). Sleep is very fine, quiet, and there are no morning disturbances in the corridors. It still has that old Italian style: dark, classic wooden ceilings and furnishings, which fits. The hotel team is very engaged and attentive. Parking: if the spots in front of the hotel are full, there’s a hotel‑owned underground garage for €10/day, a good price. There’s direct access to the hotel via lift or stairs. Everything is fine and you feel comfortable. The breakfast room is spacious and full of great décor (Prosecco bottles, etc.).
There isn’t much to complain about. Two points: 1) the shower water pressure is “little” weak; it really needs an update. 2) the breakfast ritual is unusual: everything is there, truly everything, but the very friendly staff serve it onto your plate. Apparently guests have had bad experiences with free access. Coffee is, of course, free.
