I loved the stylish décor and the fact that we could share a meal with other guests; places like this are what I’ll keep looking for. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a proper recliner chair.

The 1870s manor’s interior, furniture, art and decorative objects were all amazing, and the little hut was fantastic too; the host couple were absolutely superb!

We slipped back in time to evenings by candlelight at a huge table, where the whole hotel’s international guests and the hosts gathered to tell stories, and everything was stylish, convenient and modern. The surroundings are well cultivated and everything is perfectly coordinated. If you want to escape the everyday, I highly recommend it. To truly feel the charm, stay for several nights—time is needed to pause and start enjoying.
