The room is a good size for a solo traveller and you can stash luggage under the bed; you can see the Skytree from the window and the area is very quiet. However, there’s no front desk or staff on site, so you must email before arrival to receive a key‑code, and the hotel is a bit far from Asakusa (you have to cross a bridge), though a metro station is nearby.

The location was great, just about a 2‑minute walk from Goshogawara Station, very convenient, and the view of the Skytree from the window was nice. The twin beds were spacious, and the bath was also large. Unfortunately, the room was smaller than I expected and I had to spend most of my time on the bed, and I was disappointed that the cups were paper.

Well located with a beautiful view of the Skytree Tower, close to metro lines that take you everywhere, and great for evening strolls without worry; the streets are very quiet. The separate bathroom is excellent and the bathtub is perfect, but there’s no microwave, it’s very small, though I think that’s the standard size in larger Japanese cities.

The Skytree view is nice and the room is luxurious, but they won’t issue a receipt.
