The stylish, almost magical atmosphere of the former barn‑side building, the high rooms, the large roof terrace overlooking the street, two full bathrooms, and the newly laid high‑quality hardwood floor are positives, yet the negative rating stems solely from serious safety issues: three of the four bedrooms lacked smoke detectors, a critical safety concern that justifies the lowest score. Had smoke detectors been present, I would have rated the place 3–4 out of 10. Other major shortcomings included the lack of thorough cleaning upon arrival, greasy‑and‑dusty kitchen surfaces and dining table, several pieces of furniture in poor condition—at least one dining chair was damaged, multiple cupboard doors were warped, and some wardrobes and kitchen cabinets were so unstable they were practically unusable. On the roof terrace there were old plastic chairs and a heavily soiled table that had been patched with tape. Additionally, a noticeable ant infestation was present. The location right next to a heavily trafficked street, with both car and truck traffic, remains a neutral point; traffic remains high even between 22:00 h and 06:00 h, so guests with light sleep will likely need fully closed windows and earplugs for an undisturbed night.
