The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when they accommodated my food intolerance at breakfast and offered nice local tips. The room was spacious, and the hotel’s location near the station and bus stops was ideal since we relied entirely on public transport. The lobby and dining area were stylish, and the building has a lot of character. During the week it felt more business‑oriented, while the weekend attracted more domestic tourists, which I enjoyed. However, compared to the lobby and dining area, the room looked a bit dated; if all rooms were redecorated like the lower ones, I would give it a few more stars. We were unlucky to have our room on a rather warm hallway, with a small window that offered no real view, making it a bit stuffy—though a fan was available, and opening the window helped. A few items in the room didn’t work well, but the reception was very receptive to feedback.
