Taormina Town - Guesthouse Sicily

It’s a very beautiful and modern place right in Taormina’s city center. I liked the shared kitchen concept, but I couldn’t really use it because I only stayed one night; I would definitely choose it again if I stayed longer. The room was huge and especially the bathroom was very modern. Overall, the value for money was excellent and I’d stay here again. If you drive in, there’s almost no way to unload heavy luggage. You have to park in a garage 10 minutes by car away that costs 30 € for 18 hours. There is a shuttle bus, but you still walk 7 minutes to the property. No problem except for heavy suitcases. Also, luggage cannot be stored on site after check‑out.

The host was incredibly quick to reply. Even though we were exhausted from jet lag, we managed to sort out a late self‑check‑in without any hiccups. It took about 2 or 3 minutes to realize that the physical keys were useless, and only after tapping the hidden magnetic keycard on the number pad beside the door did it finally work.

Everything you could need is there: clean, minimalist décor, air‑conditioning, and you can enter and exit on your own with ease. The only downside was the loud glass bin trucks that started up early in the morning.
