“Pas un hotel”
I didn’t find much to talk about. It turned out to be more of a guesthouse than a hotel, and the location was almost impossible to find—no signposts, so our Indonesian driver had to ask around to locate the entrance. We bumped into Jovi on the street, who was friendly but didn’t speak any English and handed us the keys without asking anything else. Contrary to the listing, breakfast wasn’t included. The tiny bathroom had no hot water in the morning and no sink. The room’s temperature matched the outside: 30 °C during the day and 8 °C at night. The electrical setup was bizarre, and overall the value for money in Indonesia was terrible. How does Booking pick its properties? The photos only show the bathroom and the reception area.
