“Ein wunderbares Haus, zentral in Altötting gelegen. Empfehlenswert!”

The entire property and its location in Altötting are excellent. The room furnishings are highly creative—one could think a mirror factory had been acquired… The whole house is very Baroque in style, typical of Bavaria… All clichés were fulfilled 😜 The 18‑meter‑long swimming pool is also exceptionally creative. Nothing negative.

The amazing pool in the adjacent building is included in the accommodation price. The hotel is very close to the city center. The hotel is actually named Hotel Plankl; it is listed as an ADFC‑certified accommodation with a pool. We found it only by the address.

Everything was fine; the breakfast was very good. Because I arrived later, I had to search for how to get into the building. Only later did I see an email with the details on where to find the keys. But in the end, everything turned out fine.

“Kutschenzimmer”

I had an extraordinary room with a bed shaped like a carriage, and I was even able to make tea and coffee in the morning thanks to the electric kettle. The room also had a walk-in closet and a separate toilet, and the bathroom featured a sauna that was incredibly easy to use. There was an abundance of amenities available, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the surroundings were worth a stroll, although I was only passing through.
