“Sucked ass”

The AC worked well and the Wi‑Fi was fine. This has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at; do yourself a favor and spend a little more and stay elsewhere. There were cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes; stains on the sheets, peeling paint on the walls; coffee or tea stains on the walls; bleach stains on the floor. Noor was obnoxious—he kept telling us we were Indian even after we said we’re from Texas but have Indian ancestry (implying that we should settle for less because we’re Indian). I have pictures of dead cockroaches in our bathroom after we sprayed Raid; it was my son’s first time in the Maldives; a college graduation present; turned out to be a nightmare; I should get a refund.

Location is good. Cleanliness and comfort were lacking.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room didn’t have a window, but since we stayed only one night it was acceptable.

“Would definitely recommend”

The old Ihaven is gone, but Nur whisked us away to a newer spot that turned out to be even better than Ihaven, which we saw later. Nur was friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and new.

The staff were fantastic! I appreciated having a fridge to store my stuff, plus coffee and tea were available all day. The ride to and from the ferry was convenient.
