The modern and serene architecture, the simple and functional room, the excellent location with an extraordinary view, plus the outstanding dinner and breakfast.

The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was superb.

The breakfast was excellent, served on a platter, beautifully prepared and just the right amount, so there was hardly any waste. Dinner was also very good, a three‑course meal. The only downside was having to go outside to reach the main building, though the nice weather made it tolerable.

It’s a simple but lovely hotel with basic standard rooms; we didn’t see any higher‑end options. The hotel impresses with its beautiful location and view. The standard rooms offer little luggage space, so bring only a small suitcase. The building is being renovated gradually, so occasional shortcomings appear— in our room, for instance, a blind was only partially usable, and some of the likely original 60s furniture in the restaurant was a bit worn.
