It was nice and very pleasant. Because the hotel is by the sea, I expected more seafood in various variations, and I liked the different fish types. At dinner, I also wanted a wider drinks selection, like cocktails, but the waitress said that wasn’t possible and we could only order wine, which was a pity.

The beach is close, everything nearby. The pool closed at 18:00.

As a returning guest, the lady who organizes the tours added a personal touch. The staff all do their best to accommodate any requests and check on you the next day.

Good location. The city of Rethymno is very pretty with a fortress and small shops. The hotel has a private beach and free parking (end of April) on a dirt lot next to the hotel. The reception offers water bottles upon arrival, which is very appreciated. The staff are very friendly, both at reception and in the dining room (special mention for Popi who always smiles and is caring). The lunch room is very pleasant, with a variety of dishes. The duplex family rooms are well arranged: one floor with two single beds and a bathroom/toilet with a balcony. The double bed room has a bathroom/toilet with a terrace (two lounge chairs) and pool access. Very clean. Linen is changed daily. No rating on the pools since we didn’t use them. A nice walk along the sea to go to Rethymnon.
