The hotel was spotless and had everything we needed
The hotel's location is one of its best features - it's right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all the major attractions.
The hotel's water park was a major draw for me, and it did not disappoint – my kids had an absolute blast splashing around and trying out the different slides.

“We loved it, will return in the future.”
The Castaway club staff were awesome and we really enjoyed the entertainment. The waterpark was clean and heavily staffed, and the lobby design and overall theme made us feel like we were in a tropical getaway. When a few problems popped up, they were handled almost immediately. The hotel’s interior and exterior look were beautiful. However, there was a lot of whistle‑blowing in the park and we couldn’t tell what was right or wrong; a staff member approached our child about his water shoes, but no one else told us anything. The rooms had a funky smell and the walls and doors were dirty. Another issue—though not entirely the hotel’s fault—was the sheer number of kids running around all day and night, unsupervised, yelling, running, and banging on doors, which woke us several times at night and early in the morning. Some security might help control that. We got very little sleep, and the bed was very uncomfortable.
My family enjoyed the wave pool and slides, and my youngest had a blast for his birthday. We didn’t like how small the elevators were; otherwise, no other complaints.
“Nice hotel, poor waterpark”
The location was great—close to the amusement park, the mall, and other shopping. The beds were comfortable and the bay‑view room was very pretty. However, 80 % of the water‑park attractions were closed with no warning, so we got bored quickly; only the hot tub, wave pool, and splash‑bucket tower were open.
“Kids had a blast”
The kids loved everything from the waterpark to the arcade, and the ice‑cream shop was a hit. We didn’t have time to try the bowling or put‑put, but they looked fun. We were told nothing about needing to request room service, so we had to ask ourselves. Trash overflowed, toilet paper ran out, and linens weren’t replaced unless we asked. That might explain why we saw extermination companies around.
“Maybe avoid.”
The price was good, and I’d stayed here before, and it was way better then. Unfortunately, many water attractions were shut down, the lifeguards didn’t seem to want to enforce rules equally, and the beds were uncomfortable.
