The spot was convenient—walking to High Street and the station, good for cycling, and the property offered free parking with secure electric gates; the bedding, towels, and toiletries were top quality, and the hostess was lovely. However, the description on the booking site was misleading; I expected a kitchen, so I brought my own food for minimal self‑catering, and I was surprised to find a shared bathroom with another rentable room, even though no other guests were staying.

Just a short walk to the town, the property has many unique features which made our stay special. Also nice secure parking with electric gates. Nothing

The house had a relaxed bohemian vibe, and the candles, fizzy water, and bath/shower gels were nice extras. A few biscuits or a slice of cake would have complemented a cup of tea, but the early checkout was convenient for our road trip and would have felt a bit early otherwise.

The property was charming and full of character, and the owner was friendly. Hungerford offers plenty of interest with antique shops, the canal, and many spots to eat and drink. No complaints.
