The cinema vibe is great, and the rooms are nicely decorated too. Free popcorn is available in the lobby. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and offer a great view from the large corner window. The station is a 10‑minute walk, breakfast is good. The location for sights is a bit farther (about 30 minutes by bus to the harbor). The AC is present but lacks manual adjustment, and at maximum it doesn’t cool enough.

The heat in Tainan hit 35 °C, but the air conditioning kept things relatively cool and the bathroom, though not separated into dry and wet areas, was still clean. However, as soon as I entered the lobby and moved through the floors, an old‑time smell mixed with chemical air freshener made the air feel off, and because I didn’t pay attention to the room type when booking, I ended up in a carpeted room that I’d rather have avoided.
