The upgraded room was spacious with a great view, and the welcome and reception team were brilliant, as was the breakfast. The plumbing was idiosyncratic, with shower‑heads either both on or both off.

“Beautiful view, but let down by the AC and location logistics"”

We stayed in a sea‑view room that was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. The hotel is actually near Bakırköy Sahili station, not the main Bakırköy hub, so if you get off at Bakırköy you’ll have to walk 15 minutes to reach the hotel, and getting to major attractions means switching transit lines a few times, making the location less convenient for me. The AC wasn’t working properly, keeping the room above 25 °C; after a few requests someone checked it but it turned out the unit needed replacement. Because of that, I wouldn’t stay here again. Loud evening events nearby made it hard to sleep, and closing the window wouldn’t help because the AC was still faulty. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades.

The breakfast staff checked names of the 50‑year‑old lady who is not pleasant at all (frowning face, suspicious looks, I don’t like it and it’s been the same attitude four times). “A comfortable stay with a beautiful sea view.”

I had a very pleasant stay at Sheraton Istanbul Ataköy. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I especially loved the beautiful sea view. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Nothing significant
