The staff are fantastic – they made the stay feel welcoming.

The spot is right next to the Terracotta Army, which is great if you want to walk there. But the hotel doesn’t give clear directions, so we had a hard time finding it. Breakfast starts at 8 am, so booking close to the army to get there early is a bit pointless. The rooms were clean enough, but not spotless.
“The perfect day into the perfect night into the perfect morning”
This place is a hidden gem, right in the middle of all the cultural spots and it serves a fresh breakfast straight from the farm that surrounds the property. The grounds are beautiful, but I ran into a language hiccup with American map apps – make sure your travel info is spot‑on before you get to Xi’an.
The property itself is great, and the staff are fantastic – they made the stay feel welcoming.
The restaurant was a real treat – the food felt like it came straight from a home kitchen, and I really enjoyed it.
Breakfast was solid, and the Terracotta Army is only about a kilometre away – easy walk. The rooftop has a nice view of the mountains and the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The downside? The pool is more of a paddling pool, and the hot springs are only in some rooms, which wasn’t clear when booking.
