I felt really at ease in the hostel – the atmosphere was relaxed and there were lots of activities to join. The staff, especially Jota and Santi, were always friendly and ready to lend a hand. Big thanks to them for making the stay so pleasant.

The house was fantastic and the spot couldn't be better; every tour we booked turned out to be a memorable adventure, from stargazing to the red rocks and lagoons. Jota and Santi at reception sorted everything flawlessly, gave spot‑on tips (Garganta del Diablo is a must), and let us sample some great Chilean products. The only downside was that the trip was over far too quickly—I wish I could have stayed longer.

Nights at the hostel were a blast, thanks to the complimentary wine and pisco sour that kept the vibe lively. The only hitch was that when it got chilly after dark, the only common area left was the outdoor space, which wasn’t ideal for the cold.

The location is spot on – everything you’d want to see or do is just a short walk away, making it super convenient for getting around.

When we checked out, the staff charged us double the agreed rate, insisting we had a booking discount that couldn’t be applied because we paid by card. Later that evening a volunteer invited us to a “cocktail” in the dorm, and after we took a sip they added $3.50 per person to the bill without any prior warning, making it feel like a hidden fee. Overall, the experience left us with the impression that they were trying to squeeze extra money out of us.
