The guest house sits right by the gondola and the ski bus, which made getting around a breeze. It isn’t brand‑new, but it felt cozy and was spotless, and Kaz was genuinely friendly and eager to help. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room – I’m a tea addict – though Kaz did sort me out with one in the stube.

The apartment is right next to the ski lift and the rental shop, and the staff were clearly into their jobs, always ready to answer questions and give solid advice about the slopes. Breakfast was laid out each morning and the price matched what I expected. The downside is that you can’t park the car right at the unit, which was a bit inconvenient compared with the easy parking I’d found in Zell am See.

Being right by the lift made it simple to hit the runs, and the spot is also close to the nightlife and restaurants, which we liked. The flat itself is pretty basic – a simple shower with a decent spray – but it was clean and comfortable enough, and the breakfast and service were really good. Just keep in mind it’s not a luxury place; the host’s friendliness and the overall service make up for the lack of fancy touches.

The chalet’s location can’t be beat – right across from a ski‑rental shop and the lift, and only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, tidy, and quiet, and the host went out of his way to make sure the vegan breakfast options were available. There’s a handy storage area downstairs for skis and boots, and while there’s no sauna, that’s clear from the start and didn’t affect our stay.

Everything fit our needs perfectly and we had no issues at all during the stay. There was simply nothing to complain about.
