Angie & Warren couldn't have been better hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean and the added extras were a great treat. Loved being up in the bush setting and a lovely haven to come back to after exploring Pauanui. Nothing

We stayed at Puka Heights and it blew our expectations out of the water. The room felt cozy and spotless, with a modern yet homely vibe, and we could whip up our own breakfast thanks to the tea and coffee station. Angie and Warren were fantastic hosts, always ready to help, and Warren even booked a dinner for us in Pauanui. The views are spectacular, and while the drive up the hill is a bit of a climb, it’s totally worth it. If you’re up for it, keep walking past the hotel to reach the lovely beach, or just drive into Pauani’s center with a rental car. We were supplied with plenty of snacks, tea, coffee, fruit, toiletries, towels, and even laundry facilities—everything we could wish for and more. We can’t wait to return to NZ and will definitely book again at Puka Heights to explore the Coromandel Peninsula. We liked everything!

The room was super comfy and had all the usual perks plus a lot more. The hosts were outstanding, and we wish we could have spent more time there. The only drawback was the windy driveway leading up to the property; even though we were towing a tandem trailer, we managed to get through.

Angie and Warren raised hospitality to another level with a warm welcome and useful tips about nearby amenities. The room was spacious, lovely, and offered a great view overlooking Pauanui beach. Thoughtful extras like sunscreen, beach towels, a bowl of strawberries and chocolate, and plenty of snacks made the stay feel special.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, the view from the room was beautiful, and the location was very calm—what a marvelous stay! Everything was perfect.
