We really enjoyed our stay here. Our hostess was great—very friendly and helpful, always quick to handle anything we raised. The house is quite large, with plenty of spacious common areas, making it ideal for a larger group traveling together. If you’re sharing the house with people you don’t know, remember that the common areas are shared and don’t necessarily offer a lot of privacy, so it might be worth checking with the hostess about how the rooms are arranged for your stay. During ours, the house wasn’t full, so our guest room was nicely separated and worked very well. One thing to know ahead of time is that it’s a bit of a drive to groceries and restaurants, so I’d recommend doing your shopping in town before you arrive. The location is really peaceful. We loved seeing the deer wandering casually around the yard, and hearing the peacocks was an added bonus! It’s a lovely place to slow down and enjoy a quiet setting.
