The hotel’s spot is ideal for visiting the redwood forests. Everything felt slightly stuck in time, giving it a quaint but somewhat dated vibe.

The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect for us—just a stone’s throw from the lighthouse, the water, and the state park. Breakfast was excellent.
