The neighborhood is very quiet, the garden is beautiful, and it’s close to the big temple during the Hindu festival. The room is very clean, spacious, and the little balcony terrace is very pleasant; the family is friendly. The bedding is a bit hard for us.

The host is very kind. The room is spacious and pleasant (with air conditioning). The house is very clean and equipped with a very pleasant balcony. The Nallur neighborhood is much quieter than Jaffna center and very close to the Nallur temple. We recommend it.

Very friendly and helpful owners. A whole apartment for us only. Quietly located 15 minutes from the Hindu temples. Attending the ceremonies at 17u45 is a must. The cows that roam freely in a busy city are funny. The visit to Delft isn’t very special, except for the coral fences of the houses and the growth stone. Otherwise, many ruins where not much remains. The crossing is exciting, an old ferry also, max. 100 people and locals have priority. Everyone must stay inside the space. A bit scary, you’re locked in hoping he doesn’t collapse. Regarding the house, nothing negative.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nallarun illam! My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone
