I took the train to Chartres to see the Cathedral. The hotel sits right in view of the railway station, and my room offered a great view of the Cathedral across the rooftops. The room was spacious and well‑appointed, but it didn't have a fridge for cold drinks or a kettle for hot ones; adding those would have made me give it an excellent rating.
