Queen Tamar

We loved the wonderful host and her cat Lilo, close to the beach and a commercial center that has almost everything but no decent restaurant. The rooms were pretty, comfortable, and clean; the kids’ room had a smoking scent that wasn’t the host’s fault but came from previous guests.

The stay was simply magical! The hotel is in a very good location, close to the sea, and the bus to Batumi takes about 15‑20 minutes. The owners are very kind and ready to help in any situation; Tamar is just a delight! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, with a huge terrace and kitchen on the top floor where you can cook or just sit in the evening, a washing machine, large rooms, and new furniture. We were very satisfied with our holiday! Thank you very much to the owners for the comfort ❤️

We already wrote a detailed review below, because while on the same trip to Georgia we returned for the second part of the vacation with another booking. Once again, I want to say that the vacation was excellent thanks to Tamar and Ruslan. Thank you, we will come back next year.

We stayed in September 2025 and were thrilled with the vacation. We spent a long time choosing a place where we could relax quietly and comfortably, and we chose Queen Tamar without regret. Tamar is very welcoming and hospitable, and you feel at home, which is rare. You don't have to worry about little things that can disturb a holiday – they simply aren't there. Everything is convenient, very clean, with a modern new interior, very comfortable mattresses, and the bathrooms have everything needed plus a hair dryer. Internet and cable TV work excellently. There is a large separate kitchen on the last floor with a big terrace and a canopy. The kitchen has everything to cook breakfast or to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. Even with other guests, no one disturbs anyone. We liked the stay so much that after a few days in Tbilisi we decided to return to Queen Tamar for another four days. The location is convenient: the public beach is across the street (5 minutes walking), the beach is clean and not crowded (we were at the center where there was nowhere to sit). In five minutes walking there is a small square with many small shops and market stalls with vegetables and fruit, pharmacies (you can bring nothing, everything is in the pharmacies). You can also refill a bus pass there, the transport is very cheap, we rode a lot, going to the center several times a day. To our surprise we only had to take a taxi to the airport (by the way it was also not expensive). Tamar gave us all the details, recommended what to see. We are very demanding and selective about our vacation, but staying at Queen Tamar is definitely recommended, beyond praise. Thank you very much to the owners Tamar and Ruslan for such a wonderful holiday!!! And for the invaluable help)))) Ruslan was not caught, but we talked on the phone))). We have already planned to return next year.

The place is quiet, nice, a room with a very clean bathroom, and the upper floor has a kitchen with a beautiful view, honestly… honestly it has a special character that keeps it a bit away from the usual hotels… The lady who owns the hotel is very respectful, I think I will repeat the booking, and I think the place is among the beautiful ones;
