A beautiful historic building on the waterfront, conveniently located in town with plenty of dining options. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the rocking chairs on the verandah.

The location was incredible, the view phenomenal, and the history of this grand old lady of Waikiki was an unexpected discovery. Sometimes I had to chase housekeeping for room supplies, but as soon as I called they brought them to my room immediately.

Dining on the spacious veranda was delightful, and the hotel’s 125‑year history gives it a classic charm. The room in the older wing felt a bit cramped.

We booked a room overlooking the beach and Diamond Head, which felt like sitting on the shore even while lying in bed on the second floor. The location was unbeatable, with direct beach access and proximity to the action, and everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly. The room looked clean at first glance, but closer inspection revealed long‑standing dirt.
