Puerto Escondido is so compact that this place feels like a quiet retreat. The facilities and rooms are nice, and they offer free kayaks and bicycles on the property. Just remember to bring mosquito spray because it’s close to the mangrove forest and you’ll get bitten a lot!

The host was very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed assistance, even at night. The porch was comfortable and covered, keeping the chairs and hammock dry even though it rained a little. Access to kayaks and bicycles was great, and the air conditioning kept us cool the whole time. Our bathroom was spacious and clean, and the warm weather meant the water was always at a comfortable temperature even though it wasn’t heated. The pool was lovely and always looked clean. A fan in the kitchen area helped with mosquitoes, and the room was well sealed so we hardly had any issues there. Even though parking wasn’t supposed to be included, the host arranged a parking spot for us right when we arrived. The room didn’t actually have a coffee maker, but we could heat water for instant coffee. The kitchen utensils and bicycles showed considerable wear and tear, yet we still managed to use them.

There is no breakfast, but the location is good. There is no parking for vehicles.

An idyllic local spot. The room with its own bathroom was great, spacious and clean with air conditioning. We had a mini porch with lights and a pool to use whenever we wanted. In the common area we could put things in the fridge or make a snack. We also had access to the mangrove and kayaks to explore on our own. The staff were super nice. Highly recommend this place.
