“Good hostel”

The staff were lovely and very helpful with any questions, even arranging a cheap slow‑boat to Laos. The live‑music bar was an interesting choice, good for bonding, cheap beer, and the staff were willing to play games and chat, which is great for a solo traveler. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from anything; it takes a 10‑15 minute walk to a 7/11 or any decent restaurants.

今まで泊まったドミの中で1番寝心地のいいベッドでした！ ゲストハウスの中は常にピカピカで、トイレとシャワーも清潔に保たれていました。 シャワーは本当に最高で、久しぶりに熱いお湯を浴びることができて嬉しかったです。他のホステルでは良くてもあったかいお湯、くらいだったけどここは本当に熱いお湯を使うことができます。 観光の提案もしてくれるし、ファミリーディナーではおばあちゃんの育てた野菜を使った料理を食べさせてもらったり、みんなでボードゲームをしたり、本当に楽しかったです。

The hammocks are cool, and the bathrooms are decent. The room was cramped and the bed is positioned oddly; you always step over something from your neighbors’ beds. The breakfast needs better attention.

The vibe is really great. The staff are adorable. I had an excellent evening with a shared dinner followed by games. The bed is comfortable and breakfast is good! The hostel isn’t central; you have to walk about 20 minutes to reach the center. The shared bathroom could use a refresh and maybe more cleaning. The bed shifts a bit when the person below moves, but it’s still comfortable.

“My favorite hostel experience in Thailand - and probably anywhere”

The ideal hostel experience: friendly volunteers, varied activities, and organic socializing. This was the best community I could imagine when passing through Chiang Rai and a great base for exploring the north. The owners give excellent recommendations and make you feel at home. I only regret not having more days to stay.
