The rooms were good and the staff tried to please. The hall, breakfast room, and bathroom décor were disappointing.
“What a let down”
After my flight was delayed, a lovely Egyptian woman called me and said she’d stay up for me; I arrived at 23:00. When I entered the room, the sheets underneath the top sheet had been used, all crumpled and covered in hair in both the bed and bathroom—so gross. No one was at reception when I went downstairs, so I slept on the top sheet. There was no AC, the standalone fridge was blowing hot air, and the road outside was extremely noisy. Probably the worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.
“Base di appoggio per la stazione”
The location is convenient for the station, the breakfast is decent, and the room is spacious, but the building feels old.
“Discreto il rapporto tra qualità dei servizi e il costo sostenuto”
The building and furnishings looked a bit dated, but the staff were willing to accommodate requests, like keeping cooling tiles in the freezer. I could also take the shuttle to explore the city. However, there was no internet connection available, and the mini‑fridge only had one 500 ml bottle of water for two people.
“Not worth what I payed”
The building was nice and close to the train stations, but the advertised AC was terrible and the shower head was wonky. Unlike most hotels that watch your luggage for free the day you check out, we had to pay 4 € per hour per bag.
