The location is very good and reachable by public transport. Breakfast was fine, and I would describe it as a standard hotel.

Hotel Roma, situated in Lisbon’s upscale Alvalade district, offers spacious rooms with satellite TV, work desks, private bathrooms, and optional balconies. The on‑site restaurant serves international cuisine and Portuguese wines, complemented by room service. A solarium provides relaxation, while the hotel’s proximity—5 minutes to Roma Metro and 10 minutes to Portela Airport—ensures convenient travel.

Parking was an issue.

The breakfast was great, though the coffee might not have been the best. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the room was nice and the area was quiet. A short walk to the metro was important. The neighbourhood was cozy and a pleasant place to wander around. The hotel Roma mentioned a prepaid taxi service to the airport, which was very expensive at 30 Euro—far above market price. We only paid 10 Euro for the taxi from the airport to the hotel and the taxis parked outside the airport. Taking the metro to or from the airport is easy if you can manage it (or have light luggage…).

The staff were friendly and gave us a free upgrade to a superior room, which was fantastic. The sign outside was a bit dirty.
