The room was comfy, the spot was quiet, the interior and garden were nice and interesting, and the staff were very pleasant and competent. Breakfast was great, but I would have preferred better coffee—something a bit better than the current type, not necessarily from an espresso machine.

The customer service, room comfort, delicious breakfast, and smiling, helpful people create a place you feel safe returning to; the manor meets those expectations. I did have to leave for work in the morning, which was a bit of a hassle.

The location, close to the highway, was ideal for a layover. The service was friendly and the breakfast selection was good. The garden was lovely, with plenty of seating.

The rooms were clean, the restaurant food was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. On the evening before we arrived, we were told a wedding party would be held on the premises. Loud music played until 2 a.m., though we were told it was originally scheduled to go until 4 a.m. If you’re thinking about staying one night, it’s probably wise to check with the owner first about any planned events.
