I liked the owner; he was friendly and made a good breakfast. The pool was disgusting, with no filtration—just a huge cement container of water. There’s a cute dog that goes to the bathroom in the backyard and I almost stepped in it. The kitchen is outdoors and the building is open‑concept, so I was swarmed by mosquitoes.

It’s small, friendly, family‑run, relaxed, clean, and well‑located near the bus station. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like. I found the music quite loud in the evening—no other guests seemed to be there, and Santiago happily turned it off when I asked so I could enjoy the peace.
