“A warm and welcoming place to stay”

Lovely breakfast in the barn surrounded by artists work. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and they provided fruit and cereal as well as lovely scrambled egg on toast. Tea was also plentiful

The property was a beautiful Georgian house set in a stunning landscape with inspiring views of the Welsh mountains. No complaints.

“Unique venue with friendliest of hosts, quirky and far more interesting than the big chains”

Cathy and John were wonderful hosts, the venue is in a stunning spot, and the artwork on display and in the exhibition is really interesting for art lovers. I especially liked the pieces in the rooms and around the site. Cathy showed me the current exhibition and was sorry I didn’t have more time to chat because I had a meeting. When I arrived, I was offered a toasted sandwich since there isn’t much on the doorstep except a local pub. The bed was very comfortable, I slept well, and the bathroom was fine. Minor issues: I couldn’t find the reception when I got there, but John spotted me with a suitcase and helped. I never managed to connect to the public Wi‑Fi, and I don’t think it was available in my room, which would have helped with some work. No plugs were near the bed, so I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room, and I couldn’t find a wine glass in the kitchen for a birthday bottle I brought. These small points didn’t ruin my stay.

“An original, friendly, fun and comfy accommodation”

The owner was very friendly and added a personal touch, making it feel more like a home than a hotel; the art around the place was wonderful, the old buildings were beautiful, and everything was very clean, though you have to make sure the shower always stays hot—otherwise it was great.
