The room was nice and clean, not modern but well kept and functional. The parking is just a few minutes on foot, very convenient. Unfortunately, I have to give a low score for a small but significant detail. In 2026, asking guests to leave keys at reception every time they leave is already outdated, and demanding that they do so when the reception closes and is no longer staffed seems downright insane. If you’re worried about guests losing the key to the precious napkin, a common key card would suffice. Being treated like a thief for wanting to keep the key ruined my evening and stopped me from enjoying my stay in Comacchio, which is otherwise beautiful. I’m not one to think the customer is always right, but I believe guests deserve a shred of respect when they’re not doing anything wrong, especially since now you pay a lot for minimal services and for an old and basic hospitality rule. Having traveled extensively, I know my rights and duties. Instead of insisting on these outdated solutions, I would have made my stay happier and possibly spent less in a bed‑and‑breakfast, as I did for my other two nights in the area, getting maximum comfort, autonomy, and friendliness at a lower price. That’s what I sincerely recommend to everyone.
