We especially liked the host Slavica, who welcomed us with the most delightful tea and coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant, the courtyard full of amenities, perfect for small children. Our little one enjoyed it. Everything was clean and comfortable, in a style that brings back a childhood feeling of staying at grandparents’ house in the countryside.

There are places that aren’t for everyone—and that’s where their charm lies. If you’re after the luxury of big hotels, crowds, and a perfectly polished tourist experience, this might not be for you. But if you want peace, nature, warmth, and that slightly forgotten feeling of being at home, you’ve found it. For us, this ethnic village was much more than accommodation. With a small child, it was wonderful to spend days in nature, far from noise and daily rush. Everything has its own soul, simplicity, and authenticity that quickly relaxes you and makes you forget you’re actually guests. A special story is the host Slavica. ❤️ From the first moment she welcomed us with such warmth, care, and genuine hospitality that we felt like we were at someone’s place. That’s the kind of hospitality you can’t learn or fake—either you have it inside or you don’t. The best proof of how nice we felt was that we decided to stay an extra day beyond our plan. We simply couldn’t leave. We left with the sense that this wasn’t our final goodbye, but just “see you again.” We’ll definitely return. Thanks Slavica for everything, for the warmth, attention, and the feeling of home she gave us. May places stay just as they are—own, sincere, and soulful. ❤️

The accommodation was very cozy and well-furnished, sweet and comfortable. We were surprised by how clean it was. The courtyard is huge and lovely. It’s available for all kinds of relaxation with a pool, courts, etc. It’s enjoyable for children as well as for older guests. The host is beautiful. We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

I stayed at a charming rural home that felt perfect for all ages, especially families with kids. The courtyard was packed with fun – a slide, a hoop, a table tennis set, a soccer and volleyball area, pools, and more. Everything was designed and arranged with a lot of love, care and warmth. The host, Slavica, left a lasting impression with her extraordinary friendliness, warmth and kindness. We’ll definitely come back!

If I had to sum up Veliki Banjin in one sentence, I’d say it’s a fairy tale place run by a wonderful fairy. ❤️ We only arrived in the evening and already regretted not coming earlier. There’s so much space, interesting corners and content that we’re sure we didn’t even get to see everything. Kids can be twenty or more, and everyone will likely find their own swing. 😊 Everything is whimsical, carefully arranged, and full of soul. It feels like a small memory museum with old toys, cribs, a classroom, books, and many new, interesting things for children. If you’ve had a grandmother or grandfather in the countryside, you’ll definitely remember that time here. We arrived after Topola and Orshać and found the place very easily. The lady who runs the estate is truly special: smart, kind, warm and incredibly helpful. It feels like everything is done with a lot of love. I especially liked that everything is natural and that they try to keep chemicals and pesticides to a minimum. One note for future guests: this is a rural estate, not a five‑star hotel. 😊 So bugs, flies and mosquitoes are part of nature. If that bothers you, bring a repellent. Mosquitoes, in particular, bother me, so I say this from experience. ❤️ There were also some wonderful surprises I won’t reveal, because I don’t want to set expectations that something has to be repeated. I’ll just say we felt very special. I think I’ve never been more pleasantly surprised by a whole experience. If I could give 100, I would. This is the highest rating of 10, so you get 10, but you deserve a lot more. ❤️ The only thing that “doesn’t sit” with me in this whole story is that you raised our expectations for all future visits. 😂 When you land on a place that is exactly what you’ve always wanted, and the people are truly fantastic, you start to worry that the next place might be a disappointment. But honestly, that’s one of the most beautiful “problems” you can give us. ❤️
