The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful, and the house and grounds were well maintained. The view of the mountain is great, and a short hike to the 3 Pines Lookout takes about 40 minutes. The kids brought us fresh fruit. There was no air conditioning, only two fans.

The view of Mont Rotui is fantastic, and the décor is very modern and new. There’s a small terrace with a table and chairs, plus a cozy seating area. The owners live right next door, are easily reachable yet discreet. Their dogs occasionally visit the terrace and are very sweet. Travelers with large suitcases will face a real space problem—no wardrobe or storage area. The location is beautiful, but be aware that the drive from the main road takes about 15 minutes and the final stretch is quite bumpy (unpaved).

The spot is breathtaking amid Moorea’s mountains, the welcome was flawless and the bungalow came fully equipped. Nothing went wrong, everything was perfect. Just be careful with the road you take, especially at the end (route des ananas); some car rentals advise against it with certain vehicle types.

A fantastic stay right in the heart of the island! The bungalow is well furnished and the view is stunning. The bedding is very comfortable, ensuring great nights. A great address I’d recommend! The only hiccup was the water temperature, hard to get it to a pleasant level. The access road is also a bit tricky, so a small 4x4 is advisable.
